The Gentle Prenatal Stretching Exercises by Maha Al Musa features a series of gentle, easy to follow warm up exercises. Warm up stretches as a part of your prenatal practice ensure that your body, along with your baby is conditioned for childbirth so that your muscles and joints can freely move into the birthing positions during labour.
The beauty of Maha’s style of teaching is that you are not rushed in any way, the tone is sensual in style and as you slowly relax into the stretch programme, you feel warmly held in Maha’s presence.
There are 4 sections to the warm up stretches, with suitable exercises in each section to ensure your whole body is invigorated and activated.
1. Seated positions
2. Kneeling and seated positions
3. Moving up positions
4. Standing positions
